Tax Senior
Position Overview
The Tax Senior is responsible for managing tax compliance and advisory services for a diverse portfolio of clients. This role requires a deep understanding of tax regulations and the ability to provide strategic tax planning and insights to clients, ensuring they meet their tax obligations while optimizing their tax positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, identifying opportunities for tax savings
- Conduct research on various tax issues and stay updated on the latest tax laws and regulations
- Assist in the development and implementation of tax strategies for clients
- Manage and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support in their professional growth
- Communicate with clients to address their tax-related inquiries and provide exceptional service
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure integrated tax compliance and planning efforts
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fieldCertified Public Accountant (CPA) designationMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on taxStrong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulationsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneouslyBenefits
