Job description

You must have experience processing payroll for a company with over 1,000 employees to qualify for this position.

Our Tuscaloosa, AL administrative office provides a variety of consultant services We are in search of a dynamic, enthusiastic and customer service orientated Payroll Clerk to provide exceptional service to employees and facilities.

Job Requirements

  • Daily communication with facilities & employees concerning all aspects of payroll including employees’ time and PTO balances
  • Processing of biweekly and weekly payroll through Microsoft great plains
  • Ensuring accurate entries in Empower for non-punch transactions
  • Assist facilities and Human Resources with employee issues as needed

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Requires a high school diploma.
  • Computer knowledge, Microsoft suite to include word and excel
  • Must be detailed oriented at all times.
  • Ability to organize and file work in an orderly and timely manner.
  • Must answer telephone courteously and professionally.
  • Must be dependable and work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be capable of regular attendance.
  • Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
  • Must be capable of performing the  ESSENTIAL   JOB   FUNCTIONS  and  PHYSICAL AND   SENSORY   REQUIREMENTS FOR   ALL   JOB   FUNCTIONS
