LHH is searching for a candidate with US and Canadian payroll administration experience at a high level. This person manage a dynamic team and partner with a variety of internal customers across all aspects of the organization. This role is hybrid in Irving, Tx and salary will be based on experience.
Responsibilities :
Collaborate with Labor Team
Be a subject matter expert; Prevailing Wage, policy and process compliance
Coordinate internal and external audit segments for the payroll function
Collaborate and align with Payroll Accounting to ensure accuracy of financials.
Familiarity with and support for bank reconciliation process, payroll general ledger reconciliation, development, payroll year end process, and review of audit reports and inquiries; ensures correction of payment issues prior to closing payroll.
Provide leadership in addressing complex payroll issues and resolving escalations, ensuring excellent customer service.
Preferences :
Bachelor's degree or a combination of post-high school and equal experience may be substituted for education.
Minimum 8 years of payroll experience with specific expertise in handling complex payroll processes and ensuring compliance across multiple countries, states and provinces.
Knowledge of payroll tax, garnishments, and payroll general ledger impacts to facilitate adjustments, development and testing of these and related compliance changes.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience leading a team.
Demonstrated experience running full-cycle payroll operations.
Experience with and Canadian payroll processing, compliance and reporting
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)
Knowledge of JDE, SAP, and / or ADP
Master Tax payroll tax system experience
Pay Details : $115, to $145, per year
