Clinical Nurse Manager - Level 1 Trauma Center Leadership

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to join our prestigious Level 1 Trauma Center. This leadership role combines clinical expertise with operational management to drive excellence in patient care and team performance. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic healthcare leader who can expertly balance clinical oversight with staff development and departmental operations.

Essential Responsibilities :

  • Lead and mentor nursing staff while ensuring delivery of exceptional patient-centered care
  • Drive operational excellence through efficient admission and discharge processes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance clinical outcomes and service quality
  • Implement and monitor evidence-based nursing practices and quality improvement initiatives
  • Manage staff scheduling, productivity metrics, and resource allocation
  • Oversee staff development, including recruitment, training, and performance management
  • Champion patient satisfaction initiatives and lead service recovery efforts
  • Maintain inventory control and equipment management

Required Qualifications :

  • Current RN license with eligibility to practice in state of employment
  • Minimum 2 years clinical experience in acute care setting
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in Level 1 Trauma Center environment
  • BSN preferred; nursing diploma from accredited institution required
  • ACLS and BLS certification (or obtained within 30 days of employment)
  • Strong operational management and team leadership abilities
  • Excellence in communication and interpersonal skills
