Job Summary :
Acquisitions & Interlibrary Loan : Assists in receiving and checking in new library materials (books, scores, and AV materials). Performs clerical tasks such as scanning documents and picking up and distributing mail. May assist in processing Interlibrary Loans.
Serials : Assists with maintaining the serials collection, including checking in and shelving new issues, withdrawing out of date materials, and preparing items for commercial binding.
Cataloging & Other Technical Services Tasks : Assists in processing new library materials, including searching for catalog records, "quick cataloging" or accessioning materials, and property stamping and labeling materials. Depending on interest, experience, and aptitude, may assist with more complicated cataloging projects. Other duties as assigned.
Training is provided. No evening or weekend hours (generally 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday only).
Qualifications :
The position is compensated at $15 per hour. The desired start date is 1 / 30 / 2025.
