Non-represented : Min : $71,469 - Max : 93,251
Represented : Min : $73,878 - Max : $96,395 (New Hire Rate : $62,242)
Note : TA Employees must be permanent in the Assistant Mechanical title in order to be eligible to be considered.
Responsibilities
The Assistant Mechanical Engineer will provide support to and assist Mechanical Engineers with all functions related to bus structure and air systems, including undercarriage, bulkhead, axle, engine, transmission, interlock, compressor, cooling, HVAC, wheelchair, etc. Engage in research, investigation, studies, or examinations related to bus functions, parts, and components to ensure compliance with specification and standards. Create and maintain technical drawings using CAD software. Write specifications, procedures and prepare estimate of quantities. Participate in other related mechanical engineering work as required.
