Position Summary : The Loan Operations Manager oversees the loan operations process, including mortgage, consumer, leasing, and commercial loans. Responsibilities include managing loan processing, servicing, accounting, and reporting, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities :
- Loan Processing and Servicing :
- Oversee loan processing, servicing, and accounting.
- Ensure accurate and timely loan disbursements and payments.
- Supervise loan document preparation and review for compliance.
- Team Management :
- Lead, train, and supervise loan operations staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and implement training programs.
- Resolve staff-related issues.
- Compliance and Reporting :
- Ensure adherence to banking regulations.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports.
- Liaise with auditors, providing necessary documentation.
- System Management :
- Maintain proficiency with loan software applications.
- Coordinate system updates and enhancements with IT.
- Develop and maintain loan processing workflows.
- Customer Service :
- Foster positive customer relationships.
- Address inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Operational Efficiency :
- Analyze and optimize loan processing workflows.
- Implement policies to streamline operations and reduce errors.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.Minimum of 5 years in loan operations.Strong knowledge of loan servicing and lending products.Experience in managing and training a team.Proficiency in loan software applications.Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Skills :
