NOW HIRING HYBRID IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST IN MEMPHIS, TENNESEE
POSITION STATEMENT :
Report all information pertaining to all key indicators of the organization to include but not be limited to Information System Issues. The IT Support Specialist will function with autonomy, diplomacy and professionalism within the guidelines established by this organization.
Promote the well-being of the human aspect of this organization and report any concerns to the Technical Operations ManagerFunction with the highest esteem in dealing with all employees, supervisors, and consumers of this organizationBe an advocate for all the policies and protocols of the organizationRESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB AND ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS :
INFORMATION SYSTEMSoftware Programs
Monitor and maintain current software programs
Implement new and update old software programsWork with Software vendor to assure compliance of sameMaintain network functions and problem solve as requiredLearn new programs, and train / monitor staffEnsure licensing of all new software programsAssist the Technical Operations Manager to purchase and set up new and existing software programs.Review and present all facts pertaining to financial obligations of software purchases and updates.HardwareDiagnose, repair, and replace malfunctioning hardware components, including desktop, laptop, printer and peripherals.
Make recommendations for new hardware and assist in the contract negotiations with computer technology companiesMonitor and update system as necessary to avoid problemsProblem solve PC applications and offer training to support staffEnsure registration and / or licensing compliance with all PC applicationsAssist the Technical Operations Manager purchase and maintain new and existing hardwareReview and present all facts pertaining to financial obligations of hardware purchases and updatesInventoryDevelop and maintain hardware and software inventory
Network AdministrationAdminister Windows- based network and infrastructure
Administer remote connectionsPerform all user administration tasksAccount management

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
Associate degree or Technical CertificationsREQUIRED SKILLS :
One (1) to Three (3) years in Information Technology or related fieldStrong customer service orientation with proven accomplishmentsExcellent computer skills and background to include :Microsoft Operating Systems
