2nd Shift Meat Packer
Curtze Foodservice in Erie, PA, is seeking to hire a second-shift full-time Packer. At Curtze Foodservice we operate a meat plant known as Specialty Steak Service. At Specialty Steak Service, the Packer will efficiently package all meat products according to company standards in our USDA Inspected Facility.
- This position requires bending, stooping, twisting, reaching above, reaching across, using repetitive motion, heavy lifting, and the ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours daily. The Packer Trimmer will be exposed on a routine basis to adverse temperatures from cold 20-40° F, damp / wet, to freezing temperatures. In addition, this position requires the use of sharp cutting tools.
Our ideal candidate will have relatable work experience and be able to withstand a cool and freezing work environment.
Responsibilities :
Conform to all relevant USDA standards as they apply to the positionConduct operations in a manner that promotes safetyPackage meat and meat products according to company standardsControl the quality of products to conform to company standardsMaintain proper sanitary conditions, including cleaning and sanitizing all work surfaces, utensils, and equipmentPerform daily inspection checks of machinery, following all appropriate safety proceduresPerform other assigned duties as allocated by managementQualifications :

Wage : $19.54
Shift : Sunday through Thursday, 3 : 30 P.M. - 12 : 00 A.M.
