Position Summary

Kohelet Yeshiva is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a HR Coordinator. This is a part-time position that requires the highest level of discretion and confidentiality. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the HR operations and administrative functions of our school. This position offers flexibility in schedule and requires between 15-25 hours per week depending on the time of year. In addition, this position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in HR management tasks (preferably in non-profit or school setting) and a high level of computer literacy. The ideal candidate will need to effectively manage their own time and workload to meet deadlines to deliver high-quality results and customer service.

Key Responsibilities :

Administer compensation and benefits programs

Manage onboarding / offboarding processes

Execute and track letters of hire, contracts and PTO time

Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Human Resources best practices and legal requirements, including updating handbook, as needed

Coordinate with our benefit provider partners and PAISBOA

Provide assistance and guidance to employees pertaining to HR benefits and policies

Assist with administrative and office management responsibilities as needed

Qualifications :

Qualified candidates should possess experience as a Human Resources Coordinator, Assistant, or similar role

Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Strong computer literacy, software adaptability and understanding of Human Resources policies and procedures

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy

Advanced collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills
