Founded in 1908, the Watsontown Brick brand has expanded its line to include residential, commercial, and architectural products. The brand is comprised of three manufacturing sites with unique capabilities to produce extruded and molded clay brick offerings. Watsontown Brick, a General Shale brand, is hiring to fill a position of Quality Control Technician.

Job Summary :

The Watsontown Brick Quality Control Technician will be responsible for testing raw materials and finished products to ensure they conform to all General Shale and ASTM standards. The Quality Control Technician will test products across the three stages of production (raw materials, manufacturing, and packaging) to ensure General Shale and ASTM standards are met. They will also be responsible for shipping samples to General Shale sales locations, customers and to third party testing facilities.

Requirements :

• High School Diploma or GED
• Certification for quality control is preferred
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Computer skills
• Ability to, or willingness to learn how to operate a fork truck
