Job Summary :
Description : Hours 7am - 5 : 30pm (4) 10 hours / day
Responsible for assisting physicians with the performance of cardiology related procedures including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including left heart cath / right heart cath / PCI / IABP insertion / Pericardiocentesis / Swan-Ganz insertion / stress testing / nuclear stress testing / implantable LOOP recorder.
Will function in multiple areas with the cardiology area such as Cath Lab / Stress Lab / Nuclear Stress Lab.
Will function in a variety of roles such as radiology technologist / documenter / Stress Lab assistant / Nuclear Stress Lab assistant.
Work requires the level of knowledge typically acquired through completion of two years of specific education or an associate’s degree in radiologic technology or a closely related field.
A minimum of one-year previous experience. RT(R) registration required. CPR certification required. ACLS required ASPE certification is a plus but not required
