Job description

Summary :

This position primarily involves managing shipping management including delivery deadlines, and production schedules, processing while also supporting on-site warehouse operations for automotive parts manufacturing industry.

Note : This role involves collaboration with teams from other branches, including Newport Beach, CA.

Key responsibilities include :

Warehouse & Shipping Support

  • Execute warehouse shipping operations, including quality inspections and, when necessary, packing support for warehouse team members.
  • Manage warehouse operations and handle post-mass production order adjustments. (A minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience is required.)

Production & Delivery Management

  • Process purchasing orders.
  • Plan and manage production schedules, coordinating with various production stages.
  • Oversee and ensure adherence to delivery deadlines through cross-department and cross-location collaboration.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Quality Issue Resolution

  • Address quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective measures.
  • Inter-Branch Coordination
  • Liaise with teams from other branches, including those in Newport Beach, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Sales Support

  • Assist with sales-related tasks (such as customer interactions and order management) if workload permits and if the candidate shows an interest in sales.
  • Required Skills & Experience :

    Essential Skills / Experience

  • At least 2–3 years of hands-on experience in warehouse management, shipping operations, and post-mass production order adjustments.
  • Proven experience in production schedule management, delivery control, and order processing.
  • Proficiency in English
  • Preferred Skills / Experience

  • Experience in the automotive or parts industry.
  • Bilingual abilities in Japanese and English are highly regarded (fluency in Japanese is not mandatory, but even basic conversational skills are appreciated).
  • A hands-on professional capable of supporting warehouse operations and shipping tasks effectively.
  • A multi-tasker who can adapt flexibly to handle a blend of warehouse work, office tasks, production management, and potentially sales support.
  • A team player with excellent communication and coordination skills for smooth interactions with various teams and branches.
