Job Description : Job Title : Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Location : NYP Queens Medical Group, 56-45 Main Street, Flushing, NY 11355 Position Type : Contract Shift : 9 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm (includes a 60-minute break) Department : Pediatrics Critical Need : Nursing Critical Job Description : We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a contract position at NYP Queens Medical Group in Flushing, NY. This position will support the Pediatrics Department, including services such as surgery, general pediatrics, and circumcisions performed in the office. The role will be a 13-week assignment, providing essential support for our pediatric patients. Key Responsibilities : Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, and treatments, and assisting with daily needs.Assist in pediatric surgeries and other pediatric services.Monitor and record patient conditions, vital signs, and reactions to treatments.Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.Maintain a safe and clean environment for both patients and staff.Assist in patient mobility and daily living activities.Follow infection control procedures and support performance improvements.Support pediatric patients and their families with education and care. Qualifications : Graduate from an accredited LPN program.Valid New York State LPN license.Current AMA BLS certification.Experience with pediatric care is preferred.Knowledge of infection control principles and delegation practices.Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
