Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS : Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

We will rely on your professional expertise to develop, implement and maintain methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacturing or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will develop strong communications with internal teams to estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. At GDMS, we continually seek ways to develop and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing our team's knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.

What you bring to the table :
A Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, a related specialized area or field or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degreeSolid knowledge with manufacturing processes, systems and applicationsSolid understanding of lean techniques and statistical analysisPolymer molding, processing and optimization experience in a manufacturing environmentWorking knowledge of MRP / ERP SystemsWorking knowledge of design software (Creo, Solidworks, etc)What sets you apart :

This position requires you to work 100% in the facility.Target salary range : USD $87,324.00 / Yr. - USD $95,000.00 / Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary.
