This candidate should have experience working with a variety of metals and composites and be familiar with making molds. This person needs to have the ability to communicate effectively as they will be coordinating with Programmers and Engineers.

Job Duties include :
Work in conjunction with CNC Programmer to utilize CAM software to produce programs and modify existing ones for increased efficiency while meeting GD&T requirementsUtilize program verification and crash protection software to mitigate machine incidentsUtilize drawings or CAD models to support program developmentCreate, document and back-up all programsCreate and maintain set-up sheets and tool lists for projects as required kept in Mastercam FileCollaborate with appropriate engineering personnel to improve quality and efficiencies of finished parts, patterns, moulds, fixturing, etc.Training and Mentorship of new hire / current operators and other staffPrioritize programming to scheduled demandsAssist Manager in tracking of production work on shop floorCoordinate bonding of upcoming or current jobsRecord time and materials to Work Orders including GSS daily balancingFeed stock and tool inventory levels to Machining Department ManagerResponsible for adhering to company policies and proceduresContinually view and suggest improvements to processesMonitor and Maintain equipment
