Lead Patient Escort

Hire-Up staffing is looking for a dedicated, flexible and patient person to escort hospital and ambulatory patients traveling by wheelchair, stretcher or hydraulic stretcher to their destinations.

Pay : $17

Schedule : Varies based on hospital needs

Job Duties / Responsibilities / Functions (including but not limited to) :

• Complete Daily Disinfection & Tracking Log for each patient that is escorted from one of the Patient Entry Points to their 1st appointment / destination
• Sanitize the wheelchair prior to each patient using the Wheelchair “High-Touch” Disinfection / Inspection Protocol
• Following the Equipment Checklist for Assisting Patients on and off the wheelchair
• Transport each patient in a timely and safe manner to the initial appointment from the Entry Point.
• Provide courteous and professional service to all patients and their caregivers that equates to excellent customer service at all times
• Ability to follow direction, navigate throughout the campus independently, good communication skills and great demeanor
• Push pounds + via a wheelchair
• Minimum education : HS diploma

EXPERIENCE :

Preferred : Excellent customer service skills, ability to push at least lbs

Onboarding-

Must have a clear background

Must be able to complete a drug screen

Provide immunization records & TB test

High School Diploma or GED
