Job description

Shipping Clerk

We are currently seeking candidates with a strong background in preparing shipping paperwork for trucks, stages metal for shipment, and loads / unloads small box trucks.

Shift :

  • 2nd Shift, Mon-Sat, 2pm-10pm w / some weekends as needed

Pay :

  • 19.81 - $24.11 per hour

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepares shipping BOL's, Manifests, Tickets, and other related documents.
  • Stages metal on the floor for upcoming shipments.
  • Load and unload box truck with tow motor.
  • Enter shipping information into customer-specific portals.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate inventory data and participate in monthly / quarterly inventory counts.
  • Maintain and update data in various computer systems including, but not limited to, Microsoft Excel and Epics.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area, including general housekeeping of the work area. Assists with general housekeeping of the Final Inspection area.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • High school diploma / GED
  • Microsoft Office (Excel)
  • Recent Forklift Certification
  • Required to stand / walk / reach with hands and arms / climb or balance
  • Required to stoop / kneel / crouch / crawl
  • Must frequently lift / move up to 50 pounds
