  • Key Responsibilities

    As an Automation Engineer, you will :

  • Design, implement, program, and commission industrial automation hardware and control systems
  • Program and troubleshoot Rockwell and Siemens PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems
  • Work hands-on with industrial automation hardware, including control panels, instrumentation, and motor control systems
  • Perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) to ensure system functionality
  • Troubleshoot, modify, and optimize PLC logic and HMI configurations to meet customer requirements
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and deliver tailored automation solutions
  • Coordinate with internal teams, technicians, and shop personnel to ensure smooth execution of automation projects
  • Experience and Qualifications

    What You’ll Bring :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related technology field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Industrial Automation & Controls Engineering
  • Proficient in PLC and HMI programming, with expertise in Rockwell and Siemens systems
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, or automation environment (not software development or office automation)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in industrial control systems
  • Attention to detail and ability to collaborate in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to work in industrial settings, including standing, kneeling, bending, navigating tight spaces, and lifting up to 50 lbs as needed
  • Flexibility to travel (up to 30%) and work on-call as needed
  • This is not a software development or office automation role—candidates must have hands-on experience with industrial control systems, PLCs, and field hardware integration.
