As an Automation Engineer, you will :
Design, implement, program, and commission industrial automation hardware and control systemsProgram and troubleshoot Rockwell and Siemens PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systemsWork hands-on with industrial automation hardware, including control panels, instrumentation, and motor control systemsPerform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) to ensure system functionalityTroubleshoot, modify, and optimize PLC logic and HMI configurations to meet customer requirementsCollaborate with customers to understand their needs and deliver tailored automation solutionsCoordinate with internal teams, technicians, and shop personnel to ensure smooth execution of automation projectsExperience and Qualifications
What You’ll Bring :
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related technology fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in Industrial Automation & Controls EngineeringProficient in PLC and HMI programming, with expertise in Rockwell and Siemens systemsExperience working in a manufacturing, industrial, or automation environment (not software development or office automation)Strong troubleshooting skills in industrial control systemsAttention to detail and ability to collaborate in a team environmentProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookAbility to work in industrial settings, including standing, kneeling, bending, navigating tight spaces, and lifting up to 50 lbs as neededFlexibility to travel (up to 30%) and work on-call as neededThis is not a software development or office automation role—candidates must have hands-on experience with industrial control systems, PLCs, and field hardware integration.
