As a Site Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping exceptional construction projects from the ground up. From orchestrating detailed pre-construction plans to ensuring seamless on-site execution, youll be the driving force behind quality craftsmanship, efficient timelines, and collaborative teamwork. This is a full-time on-site position located in Frankfort, Indiana with Envoy.

Project Planning & Coordination

  • Evaluate proposed materials and products during pre-construction for constructability and feasibility.
  • Develop logical project schedules and allocate time to meet strict deadlines.
  • Review and manage contracts, scopes of work, and changes with foremen and project managers.
  • Study job specifications and documents to plan effective coordination and cost control.
  • Solicit, negotiate, and assist in selecting and managing subcontractors for project tasks.
  • Track progress, report updates, and prepare / distribute three-week look-ahead schedules weekly.
  • Prepare and facilitate weekly construction meetings with trade partners.
  • Oversee construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems.

On-Site Management & Oversight

  • Coordinate labor requirements, oversee site workers, and ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Supervise team members and subcontractors to ensure quality and cost-effective project execution.
  • Procure necessary supplies and materials for construction.
  • Implement quality control measures and address delays, inclement weather, or emergencies.
  • Resolve issues with owners, contractors, and design professionals regarding work procedures or complaints.
  • Investigate on-site damage, accidents, or delays to ensure proper procedures are followed.
  • Conduct 1-year warranty walk-throughs and prepare warranty lists.

  • Experience Needed

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience on commercial sites, with emphasis on structural / MEP-heavy systems.
  • OSHA 10 Minimum, OSHA 30 Preferred
  • Software skills : Proficiency in MS Project, Word, Excel, Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Apps required.
  • Software applications : Procore, Expedition, Prolog, Constructware, and PDF annotation are required.
  • Must pass a criminal background check, with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
