Job Summary :

The  Patient Support Specialist  assists patients by verifying their information, processing returns, placing orders, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. This role requires strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach to service.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Answer incoming calls and assist patients with inquiries.
  • Verify patient information and insurance details for order processing.
  • Process returns and resolve any related issues efficiently.
  • Orders for medical equipment should be placed based on patient needs and insurance eligibility.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with HIPAA and company policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service and escalate complex issues to appropriate departments.

Qualifications :

  • Prior experience in a customer service role within healthcare or DME preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems for data entry and order processing.
