Job Title : Industrial Electrician

Job Description

We are hiring two experienced Industrial Electricians for a night shift position. You will work 4 days on, 4 days off from 6 PM to 6 AM. You must be open to working any day of the week, as the days will rotate.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify, rebuild, and maintain plant equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and hydraulic problems, not just switch out parts.
• Maintain and repair heavy industrial machinery, including plant equipment, piping systems, fluid power systems, and all types of welding.
• Troubleshoot aluminum extrusion presses and auxiliary equipment, including PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and motors.
• Read and understand drawings, blueprints, schematics, code requirements, service manuals, and manufacturers' specifications.
• Promote, support, and enforce ISO 9001 elements as they apply to the maintenance department.
• Contribute to safety and environmental programs to meet regulatory and company requirements.
• Perform maintenance safety program audits, including Lockout / Tagout, Confined Space, Fall Protection, PPE, and mobile equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and make repairs or improvements as needed.
• Work with Purchasing, Maintenance, Engineering, and Physical Distribution in maintaining plant services.
• Assist in maintaining an accurate electronic backlog of all Work Requests and Work Orders, in cooperation with maintenance planners.

Work Environment

Night shift from 6 PM to 6 AM. You must be open to working any day of the week, as the days will rotate. The work environment is non-climate-controlled in an industrial manufacturing setting. You will report directly to the Maintenance Manager.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pennsauken Township, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00 / hr.
