Dakar Nola is seeking a pastry cook to assist the Pastry Chef in preparing items for dinner service and events, while also helping Sous Chefs with food preparation.
Qualifications :
- Available to work morning shifts Tuesday-Saturday
- Must have pastry experience and the ability to effortlessly follow recipes, demonstrated through a combination of work history and stage interview
- Willingness to providing assistance to Sous Chefs as needed
- Most importantly, have a positive attitude and strong teamwork skills!
Responsibilities :
Scaling / mixing / shaping breads and crackersPrepare mise en place for seasonal dessert course as instructed by Pastry Chef, including creams, cakes, cookies, sauces, tuiles, sorbets, ice creams and garnishesProviding garde manger assistance as needed
