Job description

Tekni-Plex, Inc is seeking qualified Laminator Operators to join our Production Environment in Winston Salem, NC!

Shifts :

2nd shift : 2 : 45 pm - 11 : 00 pm (shift differential available!)

Duties and Responsibilities

RUN MACHINE

  • Put material on / off unwinds
  • Put correct amount of yards in In-Process roll
  • Check cut widths at shift change and changeovers
  • Properly flag defective material
  • Maintain SOP / MOP specifications
  • Stack empty skids and discard raw material packing
  • Along with other additional tasks to complete an order

ADMINISTRATIVE

  • Fill out daily Job Reports and enter daily productions
  • Print next production order verifying order and ticket numbers
  • Call out next job in the system for Changeover.
  • Accurately post raw material usage.

    • COMMUNICATION : -Communicate with crew on shift -Communicate with crews before and after shift -Communicate with ink room -Communicate with plant personnel : material handler mechanics electricians lab supervisor. -Know where crew is at all times.

    QUALITY :

  • Visually inspect machine from front to back
  • Check material running for defects

    • GMP : Maintain a clean and tidy work area.

    SAFETY : Wearing the proper PPE and adhering to all safety protocols

    QUALIFICATIONS :

    Successful Completion of Reading & Math Test.

    Successful Completion of IVO certification training. (Industrial Vehicle Operator)

    Successful Completion of JSA reading. (Job Safety and Health Analysis)

    Successful Completion of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)

    Qualified Laminator Operator for at least one year.
