Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled GIS Technician to join our team in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience working with GIS software, tools, and databases. This role involves managing routine GIS tasks, maintaining data accuracy, and collaborating with GIS Analysts on complex projects. The GIS Technician will be responsible for creating maps, updating GIS databases, troubleshooting data inconsistencies, and contributing to GIS tool enhancements.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage routine GIS tasks, including data management and map creation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Create maps and other visual representations using GIS tools.
  • Ensure timely updates to GIS databases.
  • Collaborate with GIS Analysts on complex GIS projects.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data inconsistencies.
  • Provide input on GIS tool enhancements and process improvements.

Qualifications :

  • 2-4 years of experience working with GIS software, tools, and databases.
  • Diploma or certificate in Geographical Information Systems or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with GIS data management and spatial analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
