POSITION SUMMARY :

Coordinate, design, and implement all marketing programs, plans, advertising, and promotions for HMC departments including travel and branch locations. Provide operational and analytical support for tracking, reporting, and evaluating campaign performance. Assist in maintaining internal and external travel communications by evaluating ongoing efforts with key audiences. Coordinate any marketing materials as needed for other HMC departments.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Create high-quality, engaging content in correspondence with new and / or existing marketing campaigns for digital spaces such as websites, social media and both internal and external digital communications.

2. Coordinates with corporate partners to create effective marketing programs. Implements insurance, travel services, membership and financial services strategies and tactics, including but not limited to direct mail pieces, brochure development, magazine advertisements, digital marketing efforts, social media promotions, consumer events and email campaigns.

3. Develops graphic design projects to create product marketing, or other promotional materials that may be used to support campaign efforts for Hoosier Motor Club departments including, Hoosier Motor Club Travel Agency and Member Services, AAA Visa Credit Card, AAA Travel Store and AAA Travel Money, including but not limited to brochures, website graphics and content and / or email announcements to branch / club associates.

4. Assists Marketing Director with implementing campaigns across multiple platforms to support membership and retention, including development of creative content for digital and print campaign material.

5. Oversees and designs all elements including text, layout, photos, graphics and specific vendor logo and disclaimer requirements.

6. Assist with the creative production of the Annual Vacation Planning Expo, State Fair, and other Hoosier Motor Club promotions and events, acts as liaison between exhibitors and Hoosier Motor Club.

7. Capture, edit, and produce high-quality videos and photos for various marketing campaigns, social media content, digital and print material, event, promotional materials, etc.

8. Proficient in video editing software (, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and photo editing tools (, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom) to enhance and refine captured content.

9. Maintain a budget for all travel programs and campaigns, and assist with tracking budgets for AAA Visa pdf funds, AAA Travel Money, and AAA Travel Store co-op funds.

10. Work closely with Travel to for track, review, and collect all co-op advertising funds, incentive commission payments and any monies involved with preferred vendor

agreements, purchase orders and invoices.

11. Recommends marketing programs and provides creative feedback.

12. Detailed focus with ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines with careful calendar planning.

13. Attend internal and external work events, including vendor partner events such as Indianapolis Indians, Ruoff Music Center, Conner Prairie, etc.

14. Performs additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Educational / Experience Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree ( in business, marketing or related field; 2+ year’s graphic design experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required two year’s experience with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Creative Cloud. Experience in Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator preferred but not required.

Other Skill Requirements :

  • Creative ability combined with basic knowledge of design for developing promotional materials.
  • The ability to function independently.
  • Skill and ability to negotiate contracts.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities : This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
