Job Summary

As the Senior Catering Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the seamless execution of all catering events. Your responsibilities include coordinating event orders, managing staff scheduling and training, ensuring impeccable service delivery. Your expertise in executing events according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), liaising with rentals and outside vendors, and upholding the highest standards of customer service will be critical to your success.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of catering events, ensuring smooth execution from planning to clean-up.
  • Lead and mentor a team of hourly employees, including delivery and culinary personnel, to ensure optimal performance and growth.
  • Interact with a diverse clientele in a friendly and efficient manner, addressing their needs and ensuring a memorable experience.
  • Execute special events, such as weddings or corporate functions, with attention to detail and excellence.
  • Support marketing efforts and contribute to sales growth through exceptional service and client relationships.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality industry practices, with a focus on sustainability and sustainable food practices.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills, including writing professional emails and interacting effectively with customers.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and solve problems efficiently.
