Pharmacy Technician

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Pharmacy Technician in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role is on site / in person. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration.

Type : Four-month contract, possibility for extension or fulltime offer

Schedule : Sunday through Thursday, 3pm to 11 : 30pm. Occasional Saturday shift, 6am to 2 : 30pm

Pay : $21.50 to $ 23.68 an hour

Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician :

• Positions in this function perform various duties related to the creation / routing of pharmacy orders through receipt, review and verification of members' / patients' prescriptions.
• Prep and scan documents, verify member / patient data, submit prescription orders in computer system.
• May contact members / patients / providers to validate data, request payment information and establish priority of order or delivery details.
• As permitted by state regulation, interprets providers' prescriptions and creates order, assesses, inputs and retrieves prescription, medical / lab and reimbursement information from computer system.
