About this Position : The Illinois Emergency Management Agency and Office of Homeland Security (IEMA-OHS) is seeking an Illinois-licensed Deputy Legal Counsel to assume responsibility for advising the Director of IEMA-OHS and the agency overall on legal issues regarding Emergency Management matters affecting the State of Illinois. This position will serve as the principal legal advisor to the Chief Legal Counsel for IEMA-OHS and will be responsible for advising and making determinations on various legal and policy related issues. The individual in this role will also work with private and public organizations, officials of other agencies, and / or officials of other states and the federal government to help achieve satisfactory resolution of outstanding issues of mutual interest.
