Job Title : Sales Administrator

Job Description

The Inside Sales Representative is a customer-focused role dedicated to understanding and exceeding customer needs. This position primarily involves telephone communication, requiring excellent phone skills and the ability to maintain vocal enthusiasm and politeness. The role demands multitasking and prioritizing with the customer always as the top priority. A successful Inside Sales Representative will play a key role in achieving our sales and revenue growth goals and must work collaboratively with all departments within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service and teamwork.
  • Answer phones, assist customers, and direct calls as needed.
  • Greet and assist walk-in visitors and counter / will call customers.
  • Write sales orders and quotes in the computer system.
  • Manage and prioritize schedules and tasks throughout the day.
  • Monitor project progress to ensure timely completion and follow-up as needed.
  • Keep customers informed and updated on any anticipated changes.
  • Review and follow up on pending quotes.
  • Order, file, and distribute manufacturer's product literature.
  • Build long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with customers, ensuring they think of the company first.
  • Be punctual, have a strong work ethic, be adaptable, authentic, and take accountability for work.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Some college education preferred.
  • 2+ years of excellent sales and customer service experience in equipment or industrial products.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel; experience with Sales / CRM software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  • Experience with Order Processing is a must have.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and handle a variety of changing situations.
  • Work Environment

    This role is 100% in-office located near Lloyd center. The standard shift is 8 hours between 7 AM and 5 PM, with the flexibility to start early and leave early if desired, though most employees work from 8 AM to 5 PM. The environment is blue-collar and very family-oriented, encouraging potlucks, cookouts, and company outings

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00 / hr.
