Traffic / Logistics Coordinator

Coda Search is partnering with a $500M+ trading firm in Westchester County, NY. This is a global firm that operates across 7 offices and is coming off one of its best trading years in history. The team is seeking to hire a Logistics / Traffic Coordinator who will be responsible for working cross-functionally across the entire group managing day-to-day logistics, monitoring inventory levels, working with counterparties, and coordinating with the trading desks on the timely execution of inventory deliverables.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day logistics and supply chain of various products
• Arrange and manage the shipment of products via vessel, rail, and trucking and working closely with their counterparties
• Review contracts and negotiate pricing with outside vendors
• Prepare invoices and purchase orders
• Monitor inventory levels and prepare weekly inventory reports for the trading desk
• Work closely with accounting, finance, and the front office
