We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with around 3–10 years of experience in Product Design or R&D. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing  electronics packaging, preferably for RF / MW products, with expertise in mechanical analysis, simulation, and manufacturing processes.

This is a full time opportunity that will be fully onsite in the Waltham, MA area. Possibility of 1 day remote after initial period.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the design and development of mechanical systems for outdoor equipment and electronics enclosures.
• Utilize SolidWorks for 3D modeling, design, and drafting.
• Apply CFD, Thermal Simulation, and FEA to optimize product performance.
• Drive project-level ideation and technical development from concept to production.
• Collaborate with external partners and suppliers to manage component sourcing and manufacturing.
• Work with FIP gaskets, EMI shielding, RF connectors and cabling, radomes, and metal castings to meet product requirements.
• Engage in hands-on machining, 3D printing, and assembly to prototype and refine designs.
• Conduct testing and data acquisition to validate product performance.
• Communicate effectively and work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, ensuring projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
