Job description

Join our team as a Customer Service Specialist! In this part-time role, you'll be based at Store #722325, located at 8751 Siegen Ln, Baton Rouge, LA 70810. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with both wholesale and retail customers, helping them discover the perfect Sherwin-Williams products to meet their needs.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Delivering exceptional customer service to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Engaging with customers in person and over the phone, understanding their needs, and recommending appropriate products and services.
  • Building trusting relationships with both wholesale and retail customers.
  • Accurately processing sales transactions and following established policies and procedures.
  • Aiming to achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
  • Maintaining organized work order files and precise formulas.
  • Preparing products from the sales floor or warehouse, including mixing and tinting to customer specifications.
  • Stocking shelves and creating engaging displays.
  • Keeping store equipment clean and operational.
  • Loading and unloading delivery trucks, and assisting in deliveries as required.
  • Ensuring assigned areas are in-stock and presented neatly.
  • Staying knowledgeable about our product offerings and discussing options with customers.
  • Following inventory control procedures to maintain product availability.
  • Providing suggestions for improving sales.

Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country without needing sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English and Spanish.
  • Ability to retrieve materials from shelves and floor stacks, with the capability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.
  • Willingness to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • A valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • At least a High School diploma or GED.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role.
  • Experience selling paint and related products.
  • Familiarity with operating tinting and mixing equipment.
