The Seattle Storm are looking for an In-Game Host to serve as one of the main personalities for Storm home games, execute live promotions as well as interview and interact with fans. In this role, you will use your basketball and sports knowledge to drive fan engagement and make an impact on game days. You will collaborate with leaders to provide a world-class experience to all Seattle Storm guests, employees, performers, and clients. If you love sports, enjoy talking with people, and are highly motivated, this is your chance to improve your craft!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities - to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily :

  • Execute all fan contests, promotions, video features, game and team news throughout the game
  • Participate and host community and partner events such as clinics, fan fests and other partner requests
  • Build positive relationships with the local community by providing accurate updates and engage with fans throughout game day
  • Demonstrate an upbeat personality and strong on-camera presence to connect with fans, basketball operations, players and celebrity guests
  • Must be available for all Seattle Storm home games
  • Other duties / responsibilities as assigned

Requirements :

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Minimum 2 years of announcing / reporting / hosting experience (game presentation experience is a plus)
  • Deep understanding of WNBA history, basketball rules and regulations, most importantly Seattle and Storm history and current knowledge of pop culture and lifestyle trends
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks at a time
