We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Aviation Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects for local airport agencies and private clients, contributing to the advancement of aviation infrastructure.

Our aviation teams are located in multiple areas, including Atlanta, GA; Denver, CO; several locations in Nebraska (Bellevue, Grand Island, Lincoln, Omaha); Kansas (Kansas City, Wichita, Topeka, Manhattan); Kansas City, MO; and Nashville, TN. Remote work options are also available.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the design of essential infrastructure elements such as pavement, drainage, utilities, lighting / NAVAIDS, security, and fuel facilities.
- Ensure thorough project design calculations and conduct independent quality control reviews.
- Manage the development and coordination of plans, specifications, cost estimates, and pay items.
- Oversee drafting processes and the compilation of plan sets.
- Develop task work plans and guide team members through project phases.
- Facilitate effective communication within the team and organize technical meetings.
- Conduct occasional field construction observations, which may require travel.
- Participate actively in professional organizations to stay updated with industry trends.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.Minimum of five years of experience in aviation project engineering.Professional Engineering (P.E.) license.Proficiency in FAA design standards and advanced use of CADD software.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Capability to perform complex analyses and design work.Proven ability to assemble complete design packages for various projects.Experience working effectively in a collaborative team environment.Why This Opportunity Stands Out :
