Travel OT, Occupational Therapist

This opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist in an inpatient acute setting for a 13-week travel assignment. Candidates with inpatient acute experience are desired. Occupational therapist job duties include helping patients of all ages with limited movement establish, develop and / or maintain the ability to perform daily tasks and functions by focusing on relieving the physical, mental, social and emotional sources of patients’ disabilities. Occupational therapists work one-on-one with patients via regular therapy sessions, centering on each individual’s needs to help achieve improved quality of life and a greater feeling of independence. Occupational therapist jobs are most commonly based in nursing care facilities, hospitals, and private occupational therapy practices, and require generally good health and fitness because of the role’s physical demands.
