Job descriptionProven experience in Quality Assurance / Inspection. Proficiency in using inspection tools : CMM, surface plate, height gages, calipers, micrometers, thread, and pin gages. Specialized experience in sheet metal dimensional inspection (assembly line / non-sheet metal experience is not equivalent). Knowledge of material and hardware type / finish specifications. Experience working in a small metal fabrication or machining environment. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Openings : 1 Job Summary : Automation Personnel Services is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mechanical Inspector for a local fabrication company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and inspection processes, with the ability to inspect, test, and measure materials and components using a variety of standard inspection equipment. Schedule : M-F, 7 : 00am – 3 : 30pm Key Responsibilities :
- Perform inspections, tests, and measurements on materials and components.
- Utilize standard inspection equipment including CMM, surface plate, height gages, calipers, micrometers, thread, and pin gages.
- Conduct thorough sheet metal dimensional inspections.
- Interpret and apply material and hardware type / finish specifications.
- Ensure compliance with established quality standards and procedures.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve quality issues.
