Customer Service Administrator

Core Electric is in need of a Customer Service specialist. We need someone to :

• Answer calls and emails from customers
• Send and follow up on invoices
• Answer technical questions
• Send pricing and quotes

Our shop is located in Melvindale, MI, which is just south of Dearborn. We have about 12 other team members at that shop, with another 10 down in Toledo. We've been in business almost 50 years now. This is a very stable position - we have a large, established customer base, and there's no seasonality to our work. We can keep you busy all year.

This is a consistent role of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Schedule is about 9-5, but we are slightly flexible on start and end time depending on your personal schedule. We really need someone in-office for this role; don't apply if you expect a hybrid or work from home arrangement!

This is a direct hire, full-time, salaried role. We're looking to pay about $40-50k in salary for this position, possibly open to a little more. If you have technical experience with parts catalogs and manuals related to motors and pumps, that would be huge for us.

The ideal candidate for this position has some basic mechanical and technical knowledge, or other experience that will allow you to pick up on that quickly. You will be looking up parts numbers in lists and catalogs, answering customer's questions, placing orders for parts. This will require familiarizing yourself with the various basic aspects of our products and services.

We will be expecting any candidates to be able to reasonably pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle record check. This role will have significant financial access and responsibility.
