Auto, Marine or Aerospace Upholstery Sewing Machine Operator $18.00 – $22.00 per hour 1st Shift

We are looking for a skilled machine operator to set up, maintain, and operate sewing machinery. A great machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers.
We need someone that has worked in the auto upholstery industry or marine upholstery, or aerospace industry. They will have the type of heavy-duty materials experience required. They will have had experience working with vinyl, leathers, and heavy cargo-type materials.
Responsibilities
- Set up sewing machine (cleaning, etc.) to start a production cycle
- Control and adjust machine setting (ie speed)
- Sewing of oversized bags, handles, internal pockets …
- Inspect material for defects.
