Position Information : The adjunct faculty member will be responsible for grading student assignments and work within a timely manner, providing supportive student feedback, facilitating course discussions, promoting student involvement utilizing creative and novel means of education, and translating clinical experience into practical education to support the next generation of wellness professionals.

This is a part-time, non-benefits eligible, adjunct faculty position.

Work Location : Fully remote

Course Assignment Specifics :

Potential courses to teach : Nutrition in Pain, Inflammation, and Chronic Disease; Developmental and Lifestyle Nutrition; Functional Nutrition Technology & Diagnostics; Evidence Based Nutrition; or other related coursework.

These are established courses. Syllabus and course content already created.

What you need to have?

  • Masters degree in Nutrition or related field
  • Doctoral degree in Nutrition or related field, preferred
  • Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS), preferred
  • Experience with online learning and education (Canvas), preferred

    Compensation :

    1,500 per academic credit.

    The hiring rate reflects a candidate with a master's degree and at least 5+ semesters of college-level teaching experience. Candidates with less experience or a higher / lower degree level will have their rate adjusted accordingly.
