Job Summary :
The Lead RBT will provide direct instruction to individuals with Autism based on treatment plans and feedback provided by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The Lead RBT will collect data on programs, apply program updates and communicate regularly with a BCBA regarding behavior intervention strategies and teaching methods.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Provide direct client care in 1 : 1 and group settings utilizing a combination of Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT) and Natural Environment Teaching (NET).
- Follow the prescribed skill acquisition and behavior intervention protocols including toilet training protocols.
- Record data on observable client behavior.
- Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Utilize safe & appropriate handling procedures when working with clients.
- Maintain client confidentiality.
- Assist BCBAs, ABA Apprentice and fellow ABA Therapists / RBTs with skill acquisition and behavior reduction assessments.
- Preparing client materials prior to therapy session as instructed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.
- Train and provide feedback to new ABA Therapists during on-site shadow sessions.
- Maintain and acquire technical knowledge by attending required trainings with BCBAs and / or ABA Apprentice.
- Respond to emails daily.
- Same day SOAP note completion.
- May perform other related duties as assigned.
- 40 hours per week :
Combination of RBT and Administrative hours (as needed; ex : 30 direct / 10 admin)
