The Electronic Technician will perform electrical / mechanical assembly and testing of electrical systems and associated components. In addition to standard construction, the Electronic Technician will also be responsible for diagnostic testing / troubleshooting of systems and will perform board—or component-level modifications and repairs. He or she will ensure that all systems and components meet established specifications per standard operating procedures and / or mandated customer requirements.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties :
Adheres to production schedule and expedites units based on scheduled ship dates
Builds, tests, troubleshoots, repairs, and modifies production electronic components, parts, equipment, and systems
Utilizes various types of electronic testing equipment
Troubleshoots electro-mechanical assemblies to the component level
Quality Control – ensures all outgoing product meets specifications (and products outside of specifications are rejected / dispositioned)
Documents test processes of electronic equipment
Adheres to production schedule and expedites units based on scheduled ship dates
Performs other functions or duties as assigned (maintenance, inventories, special projects, engineering / development assistance, etc.)
