Pharmacy Tech / Computer Trainer

Exciting opportunity for a pharmacy tech that is interested and has computer acumen and is interested in travel. Salary depends on experience and aptitude.

We are looking for 2 people to work in a pharmacy that compounds.

The applicant :

• Must have a Florida pharmacy tech license and understand compounding.
• We would be willing to train in all aspects of compounding both non sterile and sterile products.
• The individuals would be required to enter orders, call MDs for refills and enter new (and complicated) prescriptions.
• They would also have to compound, capsules, ointments, creams and then sterile IV bags etc.
• Once they have learned the compounding area they would move to shipping and use the computer to ship products.
• After the individuals have a deep understanding of how the computer works, they would then be qualified to work for the computer company.
• These individuals would be the people that train new users, that's where the travel comes in.
• The travel would be to NEW sites for Isak Computing (new customers) and the individuals hired would train the new companies employees, Pharmacists, techs, shipping and billing people.
• You would have to understand how scales work in the system , how to enter credit card information, physicians, patients, etd. Etc. etc.   In other words you would have to become an expert in the system.
• So the applicant should have a grasp of the way computers work in general, and even have a passion for computer work (we've had pharmacy techs with a computer science degree hired in the past).
• While we said we are willing to train if you have previous experience you will be greater qualified for this position.
• Past experience in compounding (Sterile and Non Sterile) and computer acumen are qualities that will give you a better possibility for obtaining a position.
