Director of Nursing Services

Skilled Nursing Facility -

We are hiring an experienced Director of Nursing Services to lead an exceptional nursing team on the Cape!

The DNS oversees the operations of the large- to mid-sized skilled nursing facility. Details on the facility will be disclosed during the interview process.

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college, or university and hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts. At least two years of experience in a skilled nursing leadership role is required.

Duties include :

• Directing the nursing department according to state and federal regulations.
• Overseeing all nursing and nursing support staff including recruitment and retention.
• Conducting audits of the nursing department to ensure residents are receiving proper care.
• Supporting the team in the education of staff.
• Meeting with residents and families to discuss care and services provided.
• Completing necessary reports.
• Creates staff work assignments.
• Other duties assigned by the Administrator.
