Job Title : Finance Associate

Location : Buffalo, Rochester, or Albany

Experience Required : 2 to 6 years in commercial finance transactions

About the Role :

Our client is seeking a skilled Finance Associate to join their dynamic team in Buffalo, Rochester, or Albany. The ideal candidate will have experience handling complex commercial finance transactions and advising clients on a range of lending matters.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Represent borrowers and lenders in sophisticated middle-market commercial lending transactions, with a focus on secured transactions under the Uniform Commercial Code.
  • Advise on and manage term loans, letters of credit, acquisition financing, and related financial instruments.
  • Draft, negotiate, and finalize documentation for equipment leasing and finance agreements.
  • Support and facilitate cross-border transactions involving secured and unsecured credit facilities.

Qualifications :

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • 2 to 6 years of experience in commercial finance transactions.
  • Strong academic credentials and a demonstrated ability to provide comprehensive solutions through collaboration with other practice areas.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on technical precision and clarity.
  • Compensation & Benefits :

  • Annual salary range : $124,000 to $158,000 (specific placement depends on factors such as experience, skill level, and client portables). This range applies to the Buffalo, Rochester, and Albany offices and may vary for other locations.
