[email protected] Senior UX Designer will play a critical role in United’s Core UX team, focusing on enhancing the digital customer experience across all stages of the travel journey. This role involves defining and executing digital product strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is an empathetic, innovative, and highly collaborative designer dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions.Key Responsibilities : Visualize ideas using professional design tools, whiteboards, sketches, and prototypesIdentify user needs and business requirements through research and competitive analysisPropose innovation and improvements based on insights and dataSubstantiate design approaches with analysis and projected outcomesDesign & RefineEnsure digital customer touchpoints align with United’s UX and brand standardsDesign navigation schemes, UI patterns, and templates for a cohesive digital experienceCreate low- and high-fidelity interactive prototypes in an iterative, collaborative processPartner with usability researchers to refine designs based on user feedbackDefine & CommunicateDevelop design specifications, including process flows, wireframes, storyboards, mockups, and prototypesPresent design work to UX teams, product teams, and executives for feedbackCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment throughout the design processWork with developers, product managers, and QA to refine and implement designsMentor junior designers and provide UX guidanceRequired Qualifications : Education : BA / BS in a relevant field or equivalent work experienceExperience : 5+ years of professional UX design experience required8+ years preferredTechnical Skills : Strong knowledge of UI design, information architecture, and interaction design best practicesExperience designing for accessibility and inclusivityProficiency in Figma and related UX / UI design toolsSoft Skills : Ability to work in multidisciplinary, highly collaborative teamsSelf-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects independentlySeniority level Mid-Senior levelEmployment type ContractJob function Design, Strategy / Planning, and Art / CreativeIndustries Airlines and Aviation
