A company is looking for a Big Data Engineer III to design, develop, and implement big data solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement scalable big data solutions using Hadoop, Spark, Java, Python, and SQLEnhance data architecture and optimize complex SQL queries for efficient data flow and storageLead and mentor junior team members while collaborating with cross-functional teams to align data initiatives with business objectivesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred5+ years of experience in big data engineering, preferably in the fintech or banking industryStrong expertise in ETL tools, Apache Spark, Java, and PythonProficiency with Azure environment components, including data functions and SynapseProven ability to manage Big Data distributed systems and lead software development projects
