Starting Compensation :

30.00 - 33.00 USD Per Hour

Working Location : Fresno, CA

Working Hours / Shift :

Weekends : 8 : 30 am–5 pm Evenings : 5 pm–8 pm

What you bring to SBHG :

Master's degree in psychology, social work, child care counseling or development, or other mental-health related field.

2) years direct service experience with severely emotionally disturbed adolescents, in an inpatient health care setting preferred.

Current CA BBS registration

CPR Certification

How you will make a difference :

Prepare a comprehensive written psychosocial evaluation and assessment for in-coming clients.

Lead treatment team meetings and is responsible for a coordinated treatment plan for each client.

Provide individual and family psychotherapy.

May lead or co-lead psychotherapy, psycho-educational and therapeutic activity groups.

Responsible for permanency planning including : assessing client's readiness for discharge; coordinating planning with treatment team; making appropriate referrals for placement, case management and aftercare services; and coordinating benefits with Business Office personnel.

Prepare and submit client documentation in EMR.

Provide consultation as needed with families on issues regarding admission, discharge and aftercare plans.

Communicate to clients their legal status and rights under applicable law and acknowledge in writing their understanding of same.

Maintain a knowledge of community resources.

Coordinate client intake, treatment, and discharge actions with county partners.

  • 24 / 7 inpatient involuntary program
  • 16-bed facility for acute youth (ages 12-17)
  • Intensive treatment programs with individualized care plans
  • Available for contracting Central Valley counties
  • Moves clients through five phases : admission; engagement; learning; stabilization and linkage to resources and aftercare
