Medical Collector

CornerStone Staffing has partnered with a healthcare business in the Dallas area and is hiring Medical Collectors. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years experience with Medical / Healthcare collections and billing. Must also be okay with a changing schedule.

Job Title :  Medical Collector

Location :  Dallas, TX - free parking

• Position has the potential to be hybrid once hired on

Pay : $18 / hour (eligible for commission once permanent - up to $3000 / month!)

Schedule will rotate weekly :

Week one :

Monday & Tuesday 8am-5pm

Wednesday & Thursday 11am-8pm

Friday 8am-5pm

Week two :

Monday & Tuesday 11am-8pm

Wednesday & Thursday 8am-5pm

Friday 8am-5pm

Week three :

Monday – Thursday 9am-8pm

Friday off

Job Description :

Complete all of the research, follow-up, and external negotiations necessary with patients to resolve monetary recovery.

Requirements :

Flu vaccine required for this specific job

Spanish-bilingual is highly preferred, but not required

High volume call center experience

Ability to work in a production based driven environment

Intermediate understanding of A / R principles

Excellent and written communication skills resulting in positive communication

The ability to demonstrate analytical and mathematical skills

Extreme attention to detail and the ability to prioritize activities

Ability to work collaboratively with others

Sales experience is a plus

Stable job history - NO job hoppers

HS diploma or GED required
