Description
Under supervision of the Land Development Review Administrator, the Graduate Engineer performs entry level engineering work related to the review, construction, investigation, development, and design of engineering projects.
Graduate Engineer I : $64,336.00 - $96,503.00
Graduate Engineer II : $68,839.00 - $103,261.00
Principal Duties
Qualifications
Required : Graduate Engineer I
Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering
Valid Texas Driver's License
Texas Engineer in Training (EIT) certification, preferred
Graduate Engineer II
Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering and two (2) to four (4) years of civil engineering experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Texas Engineer in Training (EIT) certification, or the ability to obtain by reciprocity within six (6) months of date of hire
Valid Texas Driver's License
Preferred :
Experience in municipal government
Knowledge of industry standard computer programs (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, EPA SWMM, STORMCAD, Kentucky Pipe Network Analysis, Auto CAD, etc.)
Management or supervisory experience
Public speaking experience
